Protesters often face safety risks, communication barriers, and uncertainty when participating in demonstrations, making it difficult to stay connected and informed in real time.

Activists need more than just passion—they need reliable tools that enhance safety, coordination, and knowledge-sharing to create a more effective and empowered movement.
Solution
SUDA is a platform built for safe and informed activism. With real-time location sharing, community collaboration features, and expert safety resources, SUDA empowers activists to stay connected, protected, and prepared while driving meaningful change.

We extensively researched and studied the different forms of competitors to our potential product. These potential competitors ranged from literature to social media platforms to tv and radio outlets.
POVs and How Might We
We explored the challenges of protest safety and community-building, focusing on making safety education more accessible, fostering connections among like-minded activists, and ensuring users can look out for one another. Through our research, we identified key concerns—like fear of the unknown, safety for families, and the need for stronger networks—that informed our approach to designing a solution that empowers and connects protesters.
